Gary Mansfield is the Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for publicly-traded National Medical Health Card Systems, Inc. (“NMHC”), a leading pharmacy benefit management company with revenues approaching one billion dollars. Prior to this position, Mr. Mansfield was employed as the President and Chief Operating Officer of NMHC Mail Order, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical and mail order pharmacy, wholly-owned by NMHC. Prior to joining NMHC, Mr. Mansfield was Director – Healthcare Investment Banking at Capitalink, L.C., where he provided clients, including NMHC and others, with strategic guidance and assistance in implementing mergers and acquisitions, as well as debt and equity financings. Mr. Mansfield joined Capitalink in 2001.
Mr. Mansfield has previously held senior management and/or board of director positions at several healthcare companies including Best Generics, Inc. (sold to Ivax Corp.), Medical Containment Systems, Inc. (sold to ProxyMed, Inc.), ProxyMed, Inc. and PlanVista Corporation. In the various positions he has held, Mr. Mansfield has helped these companies raise more than $100 million through a variety of structures, including initial public offerings, private placements for private and public entities, and reverse merger transactions. Mr. Mansfield earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, his J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law, and his M.B.A. in finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
