Woodbury Products Completes Acquisition of Continence Connection and DHP Home Delivery
OCEANSIDE, NEW YORK – January 22, 2010 – WPI Holdings d/b/a Woodbury Products (“Woodbury”), a portfolio company of HealthEdge Investment Partners, LLC (“HealthEdge”), announced today that it has completed the acquisition of two companies, the Continence Connection and DHP Home Delivery.
Headquartered in Oceanside, New York, Woodbury is a direct to consumer distributor of high quality incontinence and other related healthcare products. Woodbury offers over 250 items, including baby and adult diapers, pull-ups, pads, and liners with approximately 50 different diapers. The Company also sells gloves, creams, wipes, and other products required by its target customers. Woodbury maintains approximately 30,000 square feet of office and warehouse space at its headquarters and also has a distribution center in South Florida.
According to Woodbury CEO Brian Darling, “We are excited about these enhancements to our business and will continue to pursue add-on acquisitions in the incontinence product distribution space. The founder of Continence Connection, Robin Howe, is a registered nurse who has treated incontinent patients her entire career and will stay on board with Woodbury to further assist our patients with finding optimal products that best suits each patients needs. DHP Home Delivery sells a variety of products currently not offered by Woodbury, such as compression stockings, diabetic socks, and wound care, cardiology, and urology products. DHP allows Woodbury to become a multi-vertical healthcare products distributor and gives the Company a new brand, Kendall (marketed under the SureCare® brand), to sell to our existing patients.”
